Northport, WA

We headed to Northport last month for a hunting trip with Dad.

Matt has been going to Northport for years and it was time for the annual hunt, but after his bird hunting trip we decided that everyone would enjoy the weekend much more if we went as a family!

So we packed the kids up and headed out for Mikayla's first camping trip- just two months old!

James prefers to be behind the steering wheel when it comes to roadtrips!

Camping is family time. Sure makes for a crowded bed!

While Matt was out on the hunt, we enjoyed tasty meals...

Playing with Kona...

Stickers...

(Notice James felt Mikayla wanted stickers on her face too)

And card games too!

It's safe to say that Mikayla had a blast.
She's my smiley little angel!

In between hunts the kids bundled up...

... Ready to enjoy...

Our first snow of the season!

Special memories made.

Learning how to make campfires.

Such a gorgeous setting at our campsite!

Winter is beautiful!

Back in the camper, Mikayla enjoyed a warm bath.

After James' bath, he wanted to take a peek outside...

Mom got a peek of something else!
He will thank me for this picture in 15 years...

In a few years the kiddos will be enjoying their bunk beds!

I love camping with these two!

As always, there were plenty of kisses for baby M on the trip.

And James is always there to help Mom clean!

What a great weekend!
