Look Who's Standing Up!

James has learned how to crawl, stand and almost walk- all in one week! He is all over the place now.

It's about time to lower the crib!

Videos are coming!

Dumas Bay Park

For my birthday we took a family trip to Dumas Bay in Federal Way. We love this beach.

We also wanted to try out James' new backpack carrier.
He L-O-V-E-D it.
I can tell this thing is going to go everywhere with us.

Kona enjoyed himself, naturally.

The tide was out. James enjoyed watching Kona chase birds.

Then it was snack time!

James liked to hold on while he was riding... how cute!

Morgan's Wedding and Larrabee State Park

Last weekend we attended Morgan and Lars' wedding in Bellingham. The ceremony was held at a family farm, it was gorgeous!

The reception was right on the river.

We decided to make the trip into a weekend stay, so we camped at Larrabee State Park. The views were amazing and James loved exploring this new place!

Ready to walk down to the beach.
James' favorite activity was watching Kona play in the water.
Testing the waters...
Did I mention how pretty it is up there?

Of course, hanging out in the camper is always fun- look who's standing up!

I love this sweet face.

Did I mention that we got to spend time with the newly wed Mr. and Mrs. French? Fun times!

Another successful camping trip!

Mount Baker National Forest

We decided to join the Kelly family for an impromptu camping trip, so we could all "break-in" the new campers!

James and Ginger discussing their camping plans.
Hanging with Dad

and of course, Kona too

Ginger and Darla, I love these girls!

The dads hanging with their babies

Ginger enjoying a snack- this girl loves her big kid food!

Aren't they cute?

James sharing his balloon with Ginger (of course it went camping with us!)

A cute one of the Kelly family!

What a fun trip! Next time it will be more than one night, but it was definitely a great getaway!

Yellow Balloon

I bought a stroller from the local consignment shop the other day, and the owner gave James a balloon. I wasn't sure that he'd know what to do with it. Boy, was I wrong!
This free balloon quickly became the new favorite toy.

It went everywhere!
Sharing with Kona

SO much fun!

I know what James is getting for his birthday!

Company Picnic

Each year my company hosts a summer picnic. This was James' first picnic experience. I think it was a success.

Making friends

Tons of fun!
