Flash Back!

Okay, as a follow up to my last post, I had to post these baby pictures of Darla. She has grown so much!

She was the happiest baby!!

This was at Paradise after Liz and Aarons wedding.

 And at our wedding!

Darla and Ginger

Matt and I love the Kelly girls!

I still remember where I was when Melanie told me she was pregnant with Darla. And of course, Mel and I were pregnant with Ginger and James at the same time. In fact, Ginger was born just 5 days after James at Swedish!

I can't believe Darla is already three, and Ginger just turned one along with James. It's incredible, they are growing so fast!

We had a great time at their birthday party. The girls had a joint celebration at the Children's Museum.

Darla's not a big fan of the camera, I had to sneak some pictures of her!

Big girl Ginger! Isn't her outfit adorable?

Maya is growing so fast too, I remember when she was just a tiny newborn!

 Cakes for the girls...

... And James loved his kid-sized cupcake!

Happy Birthday to my girlies!

First Birthday

James turned one on Thursday!

It's hard to believe- this last year has flown by.  Needless to say, it has been wonderful. James brings us so much joy!

The birthday parties (yes, plural) are in a few weeks, but we still had a small celebration on Thursday.

Morning kisses for dad before he leaves for work:

Grandpa stopped in to give James a special gift!

Rare coin- #2 in the set. James received #1 before he was born.

Later... visits with Tutu and Uncle Brett.

Our little family!

After dinner, James got to open presents! I wasn't sure how interested he would be.

Surprise! James LOVED ripping the paper off!

Mom helped.

Tissue paper is fun too!

Finally, time for some cake!

No surprises here, he loved it!

Stay tuned for more pictures when we celebrate with friends and family!

Chris and Dee

Chris and Dee got married this summer in Ohio. We were able to celebrate together over the Thanskgiving holiday.

We are so excited that Dee has joined our family!

Toasts to the couple...

Cutting the cake!

The obligatory cake face smash.

Kassi wanted in on the action!

Congratulations!

Thanksgiving 2010

We had a fantastic Thankgiving this year. We kept with the Knight family tradition of spending Thanksgiving as a family in Arizona.

James slept the whole plane ride down, snuggled with Grandpa.

It was fun to spend time with family. We stayed the whole week and had lots of time to relax!

This is what happens when James has ice cream for dessert...

Wild man!

A beautiful desert rainbow...

Matt especially enjoys golfing and hot tubbing when we go to Arizona.

Some fun family photos from the week: Kisses for dad...

Grandpa and Liza

 Samantha and Clara

Grandpa Dale

Crazy Uncle Pat

Being silly!

We celebrated Samantha's 14th birthday! It's hard to believe, she is growing up so fast.

Wednesday we had lunch at the golf course while we were waiting for the guys to finish the 18th hole.
James always has a good appetite.

It was here that James had his first taste of lemon.

I don't think he liked it!

We had the BEST time when Chris, Dee and their kids (Kassi and Trey) arrived.  They couldn't wait to meet "baby James."

Of course, James loved hanging out with the big kids!

Kassi couldn't get enough of him!

She loves her princess dresses!

The kids looooved Uncle Matt. He played with them in the pool and they hung onto him all week!

Did I mention how much James LOVED being a part of the kid crowd?

Time for turkey! Matt inherited the all important duty of carving the turkey this year.

Ben and Ashley, getting things ready..

The whole family. Another great Thanksgiving!
We have so much to be thankful for.
