Happy Birthday Tutu!

A fun night celebrating our wonderful Tutu!

(James is always willing to be a volunteer candle blower)

Admiring Tutu's forehead kiss print at the end of the night!

More Dress Up

Mikayla as Woody and James as.... Spider-Bat-Fire- man?

Love this kid!

Hammock

We hung a hammock from James' bunk bed and the kids have been loving it!

They like to lounge with each other and/ or with stuffed animals. I often catch them reading and playing with their Leapster in the hammock. Mikayla also likes to "nap," which means closing her eyes and making a snoring noise.  It has been such a fun indoor spot for them!

Halloween 2013

The kids were so excited for Halloween. They talked about it for weeks leading up to the big night.

James found his Spider Man costume at Costco and there was no turning back. Mikayla started the evening as the Little Mermaid...

...and later decide that Minnie Mouse was the way to go.

We had another great year at the festival at Calvary.

Mikayla got her first face painting.

James enjoyed the bouncy houses, slides, and mazes (while Mikayla watched safely from the outside).

And then the trick or treat extravaganza began!

The kids filled their buckets quickly and I was happy to end the night at a decent hour!

On November 1st James asked me what I want to dress up as next year. He decided he wants me to be a dog, Mikayla a princess, and he wants to be a snowman.  This changes daily. Luckily we have a long time to make the perfect decision!

Costume Fun

My office dressed as minions from Despicable Me.

The kids had fun playing with the costume glasses!

Fall Evening Outside

Pumpkin Carving

Pumpkin Craft with Grandma B

James' First Field Trip!

James' first preschool field trip was to Thomasson Farms!

Two trips in the same week- James was thrilled.
SO much to enjoy here!

He was so excited to hang out with "all those friends".

And the love for tractors begins. This was the first inspiration for a tractor birthday!

Miss Rhonda is the best preschool teacher. She genuinely loves her kids.  We couldn't have asked for a better teacher for James' first school experience. He looks forward to seeing her every school day.

Learning how pumpkins grow at the farm.

Waving to all their fans!

I loved this special one on one time with my big preschooler! It was so fun to watch him grow and learn this fall.
