Best Friends

James and Mikayla grow closer every day, it's so neat to watch!

Lately he's been talking to her in a new, extra lovey way.  I love watching his style of "baby talk." He must be watching us because he imitates the "cootchie cootchie coo" lingo. And check out how he shakes his head!

It's mighty sweet!

Snow Fun!

When the snow came, James was ready for action!

Love our home, covered in white!

We had a blast in the wintery wonderland!

For the week of "Winter Blast 2012", James started to enjoy the white stuff more and more.  I imagine by next year we won't be able to keep him away!

Nearly seven inches in Bonney Lake!

These neighbors had the right idea!

Our giant frosty!

Yes, those are fruit snack teeth...

My little snow angel got to enjoy brief moments outside, but we stayed in to keep warm for most of it!

She did enjoy watching all the action from her swing set.

Luckily Matt made a fire to keep us warm!

Sweetness.

Snowmageddon 2012

Crystal Mountain

A few weekends ago, Bec and I decided we should take the kids for some sledding (we didn't know the snow would be coming to us soon!)

Crystal is just about an hour from our house so we bundled up the kids and headed up the mountain!

Haley had a blast in her sled!

<3 him

This one preferred towing the sled instead of riding in it!

 This is one FUNNY memory!
...hugs...

...uh oh!...

...ouch!...

Yay Mikayla! Her first sledding experience!

My snow angel!

 Cute snow bunny!

We had such a fun time, we decided this should be an annual tradition! The kids will enjoy it more and more as they grow up.

I think the adults had the most fun this year!

Did I Mention...

Our little four month old is in nine month clothing!!  So many cute 6 month outfits she never got to wear!
And there has been alot of drooling lately... yes, we have our first tooth coming in!
Definitely getting ready for some solid food!

Snow!

We've had plenty of snow up in Bonney Lake! And there is supposed to be much more to come tonight, so I anticipate there will be plenty more wintery footage coming soon!

This little guy loves the snow!

And this one is learning to love it. :)

I wish he'd keep his gloves on!

I love this beautiful winter wonderland.

Love for Baby M

We got to play with the Kelly girls again last week.  And boy do they love baby Mikayla!

Darla and Ginger took turns holding her and giving her kisses.

Look at this clan! They are all growing up!

So much fun together. :)

Packers Fans

Well, the Packers lost and are out of the playoffs.

But I did get one great shot of my family sporting their Packers gear while watching their last game! A good thing too, because by next year Mikayla won't fit this little onesie!

Looking For the Moon

Ever since Papi showed James the moon, he talks about it ALL the time!

We look for the moon every day and every evening. Sometimes it's in the front of the house, sometimes it's in the back.

James gets so excited when talking about the moon.  It sounds something like this "A the moo da moo de MOOOON!" Very cute.

Date Night

My parents came out to be with the kids so Matt and I could go out on a date night!

I was noticing that we didn't have many pictures of just the two of us recently, so I made sure to snap one on this momentous occasion!

We went to Hopjacks in Bonney Lake and had the BEST time. My husband sure knows how to make me laugh! Love him bunches!

4 Months Already?!

Mikayla turned four months old on January 8th!

She is still our sweet, happy little girl.

This healthy little one is VERY interested in what we are eating these days!! She lunges for our meals regularly! I think solids are in our near future!

Her personality is growing so much!

Mikayla has discovered her voice- not only is she talking to us and to brother all the time, but she loves to scream! It is the funniest thing- she loves to make high pitched noises and laugh at herself.  I think she is going to have a great sense of humor.

She is still incredibly easy going.  She likes to hang out and suck on her fingers (still won't take a pacifier!) but she does love that thumb.

She kicks and smiles when she gets really excited, and she laughs at brother- alot!  He makes her so happy!!

She has mastered the art of rolling over! She goes back and forth from her back to tummy and loves it.  She's even surprised me a few times by scooting right off her blanket!

We had a gorgeous sunset on Mikayla's four month 'birthday'.
God has certainly blessed our family!
