It should be noted that before James came along, Kona joined the family.
We brought Kona home in October of 2008. He is 100% golden retriever and a wonderful family dog.
Matt chose Kona because he was the darkest puppy in the litter. I was a little concerned because when we went to pick him up, all of the puppies were drinking water from a bucket. Kona went too far and fell into the bucket, and his mom had to rescue him.
We've definitely been through some "adventures" with Kona, but we wouldn't trade those memories for anything!
Kona has been fantastic around James, and James LOVES him! He laughs at Kona all day long!
That being said, I love both of my "baby" boys so much!
