James got to celebrate his birthday with two fantastic parties this year!
Our first party was with family. We went with a Cars theme (from the Disney movie) because James loves everything Cars and Cars 2! It wasn't an easy decision though. We went back and forth between Thomas the Train, Curious George, and Cars. James is into so many different things right now, it's fun!
Tickets to the "big race" invited guests to the party.

James was excited about all the decorations. Each day they were on the walls he would wake up and say "Who's that! Who's that!"
James helped me put these balloons up. We used M&M's to weigh the balloons upside-down. We went through alot of candy while decorating the house!
We even had Cars goodie bags! My mom and I found these at the Dollar Store!
Everyone enjoyed coloring...

I think James enjoyed his birthday cake even more than last year.
He was anxious to dig in once the candles were out!

He was so funny to watch while opening his presents. I think he would have been happy with just one gift! He would sit and play with each present and was in no rush to open the next one! It's true what they say about kids loving the boxes the gifts come in just as much as the gifts themselves...
After the party was over, he played and played and played!
This was James' day, but there was no shortage of love and snuggles for Mikayla during the party!
