Matt and I spent Labor Day weekend in Chicago! We went for my cousin Brian's wedding, and added a few days to the trip to explore downtown and see the city!
It was a great weekend away for us. We missed the kids but really enjoyed this time together.
Huge thanks to my cousins Tim and Kari for letting us stay with them!
We loved being with family all weekend.
First things first, authentic Chicago deep dish pizza :)
Up early in the morning to take the train downtown. Ready for an adventure!
Chicago is such an awesome city. We had great weather (plus an awesome rain squall...)
Talk about some major high rises. This city puts Seattle to shame!
Millenium Park
The infamous Bean.
A delicious lunch on the Miracle Mile.
Best. Popcorn. Ever.
Loved the architecture in this city!
We went to the top of this tower
and enjoyed these incredible views:

Watching the storm move in...
Taking cover while the giant rain squall moved through!
