Day in Sequim
We spent a day in Sequim enjoying the Olympic Game Farm and the lavender festival.
I will start by saying the Olympic Game Farm is amazing! I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. The kids loved feeding the animals, which come right up to your car! I've never experienced anything like this!
Our first visitor:
James couldn't get enough of it all. We will definitely be back.
We learned they used to film movies here. Now it is just an animal reserve. You can bring your own wheat bread and drive through as many times as you want.
This guy had no hesitation when it came to some VERY up close encounters with the wildlife! He was all over the van following the animals from front seat to back.
Mikayla was a bit more cautious and stuck close to Mom and Dad.
Woah!
Then we grabbed smoothies and took a drive up to the coast. Such a gorgeous place.
Next stop: the lavender fields.
Purple as far as the eye can see.
The kids loved to run down the rows of color.
A beautiful ferry ride home to end a perfect, sunny, summer day!

Summer T Ball
James' first season for T Ball. He loved it! It has replaced soccer as his favorite sport. All summer James would say "Come on Mom, let's play catch!" So fun!
Coach Dad loved it too!
Pre game cheers!
It is SO fun to watch preschoolers play baseball. Lots of laughs and confusion. Love it!
Proudly running to first base:
In the outfield:
Mikayla enjoyed the games too. She found many ways to keep busy.
Checking out the goats in the neighborhood...
Snacks and coloring...
Here's James after his banquet.
With Coach Brandon:
Team photo and James' first official sports portrait! That face! James is absolutely my shy one and was not quite sure about these photographers. I think he felt better after the individual photos when he got to sit with his friends. Too funny!
