At one year old...

Mikayla can stand on her own- for a few seconds!

Loves to crawl up the stairs.

Loves to stand up in her highchair, bath seat, swing... everywhere!

Gives big kisses with a loud "muuaah!"

My faithful photo assistant for 12 months!

One year has gone fast and been so wonderful!

Puyallup Fair and Parade

A fun morning at the opening of the Puyallup Fair!

The day started out with the Western Rodeo Parade and Cattle Drive.

Lining up, anxious for the parade to start!

The tractors were James' favorite.

And the dogs!

Cute!

After the parade, we hopped over to the fair.

This one was tuckered out after the morning's excitement!

Train ride!

James wasn't interested in too many of the other rides on this day. He preferred to assist...

... or watch with Grandma.

The carousel is always a hit!

Very interested in petting the animals.

My dad took me and some friends out on the boat for a day of birthday fun!

Wild Waves and Enchanted Village

A hot September day- perfect for a day of fun at Wild Waves!

Tickets from Propel- also perfect!

First ride, James is cautious!

Tall enough for more rides this year!

These swings were fast! 

I'm surprised James didn't freak out- I did a little bit just watching!

Choo choo train- the #1 fave.

Happy to watch brother from the sidelines.

Excited to feed the fish!

And of course, lots of splashing fun in the water park!

James was  HUGE fan of the waterslides. He went down them over and over again.
