Maris Farms

This is our first autumn in the new home, and we've been excited to start some new traditions!

We went past Maris Farms one day when we were out for a drive and it looked like fun,
so we decided to check it out.

We tried to set James up for a photo under "How Tall This Fall?"

But as you can see...

He was ready to explore all this pumpkin patch had to offer!

First a ride on the tractor!

And then the horse!  We came on a weekday afternoon when Matt got off work so we had the place to ourselves.  So fun!

Mikayla was all bundled up for the outing.

She slept through most of her first pumpkin patch experience, snuggled up to Mom.

Meanwhile, James had a blast trying everything out!

They even had a bouncy house!

This room full of corn was definitely the main attraction.
James loved to crawl around in it, and I think Matt enjoyed it just as much!

We found corn in his pockets, in his socks, it was everywhere!

Ducks!

The "Goatwalk."

Time to pick out the perfect pumpkin!

Of course James wanted to push the wheelbarrow. :)

So many to pick from...

Such a beautiful fall day.

James did not want to leave. He would have taken every pumpkin home with us if he could!

We loved Maris Farms. We'll be back next year!

Happy Halloween!
