Puyallup Fair

We decided to head to Puyallup and give James his first fair experience!

Our first stop was to look at all of the different birds.

James had never seen anything like this before! He stared intently.

Then we took a break for lunch. Fair food is something special! From corn dogs to scones, we were stuffed.

My sweet husband, mouth full of scones...

Then we checked out the exhibits.

Have you ever seen pumpkins so big!?

James is so tiny in comparison.

There were cows, too. James didn't like the smell, so we didn't spend too much time in there.

But we did get to see a baby calf!

One of the fair workers gave James a banana hat, but it didn't last long- just long enough for mom to snap a picture.

What a cutie!

Of course, dad had to help James check out the tractors.

We checked out the ponies and the goats, and James started to poop out.

Such a big exciting day!

As soon as we got him in the car, he fell asleep. Next year we look forward to kiddie rides and face painting!
