I needed to take a business trip to Medford last week, so I invited my mom to come along so we could enjoy some tax free shopping! This was also James' first real road trip.
Getting ready for the big drive...
We made quite a few stops to break up the drive. James decided he'd like to try out the big boy seat while we were at a rest stop.
Probably his favorite stop was for Dairy Queen. What's a road trip without ice cream?!
I can feed myself, Mom!
Things got a little messy, but that's OK!
Our first Medford outing was to the Harry and David outlet store. Harry and David is headquartered in Medford- who knew?!
Beautiful signs of fall everywhere...
Our second stop of the day was a local farmers market. So many delicious goodies!
Later we decided to make the ten minute drive south to beautiful Ashland, home of the Oregon Renaissance Fair and tons of cute little shops!
After some shopping we had lunch on the river...
... and then took a drive through the gorgeous Lithia park. There were so many deer! They let us get close enough to take some great photos.
There were two babies, soaking up the sun...
...but staying close to Mom!
After our tour of Ashland, we headed over to the historical town of Jacksonville for more shops and wine tasting.
Such a fun day!
Finally mom had to head to her meeting. Here's James and Tutu getting ready to head to the pool for some more fun!
