I was changing Mikayla's diaper the other day and thought I'd give her a little naked time!

Meeting Eloise

After the New Year's wedding weekend, Derek's sister Jen and her family stayed with us before heading back to the east coast.  It was so fun to catch up with my long-time friend (Jen and I met in the second grade!) and get to know her sweet little one!

Happy New Year!

We got to spend New Year's in Leavenworth this year with my parents. It was a great trip! We make a trip to Leavenworth every year, and decided to make this year's trip over New Year's so that we could also attend Jamie and Derek's wedding.

Our home for the weekend- a great condo right in the middle of town!

We were conveniently across the street from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, my favorite!

Actually, we brought in the New Year back at the condo with these guys :) And our New Year celebration took place at about 10pm before we all hit the sack! Still wonderful!

We woke up to more snow on New Year's Day!

We enjoyed lunch at our traditional bratwurst joint in town and headed home.

First Time in the Bumbo!

Mikayla is changing so much.  She has gained coordination with her hands and arms and loves to play with toys and pull on things.  The other day she was getting tired of sitting in her chair so I thought we'd give the Bumbo a try.

I was surprised- she loved it! She can sit up and be part of the family and check out her toys.

Christmas with Great Tutu and Papa

We spent some time with my Grandparents on the day after Christmas.  

This was the first year that they weren't able to be at my parents' for Christmas Day, but I'm grateful we were still able to be with them during the holidays.

Papa always has a treat for James when we visit.
