Redondo with Tutu

We enjoyed a great day with my Mom at Redondo.

Admission to the aquarium is free on Saturdays. The kids loved it!

James got to touch and feed the sea life. So fun!

After the aquarium it was down to the beach to feed the ducks and play.

This was their favorite activity- 

jumping back and forth over the stream.

Glad I wore my boots! My mom and I brought the kids here earlier in the week and I was in tennis shoes. Lesson learned! These kids prefer to play in the water!

The kids wanted to hand feed the ducks, so they spent alot of their time chasing the ducks with the food. Too funny.

Farmhouse Table

It was time to turn our playroom into an actual dining room. I was admiring some beautiful farmhouse tables at Pottery Barn, and found some plans for a similar table on Pinterest.

I'm blessed to have such talented carpenters in my life! A huge thanks to my Dad and Dane for this project. And my husband, of course! :)

It takes real talent to turn this...

...into this!

I love the bench seat!  Perfect for the kids.

Picking out the stain was no easy task. I went to the lumber store at Southcenter to sample a few... and I'm so happy with how it turned out.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! The table and bench are incredible gifts that will be passed on for generations!
