Matt's Weekend

Eight Months Old!

Where does the time go?! Mikayla is eight months old!

I can hardly say she's a baby anymore, I have to shop in the toddler section of Old Navy for her!

We officially have a crawler on our hands. She is mega mobile!

And, she is so strong! I had her laying on her back in bed the other day and she did a full sit up- with no help from Mom! I laid her back down and she did it again!

Favorite foods- carrots and squash. Still not a banana fan.

Always has a smile for everyone! I love this girl!

Check out her bouncer action. She loves to bounce! I think it's so cute!

Roegner Park

One of my favorite things to do as a family is explore parks!

We loooove Roegner Park.

So much to do here- walk along the river, play in the dirt and sand, play on the big toy, and have fun with flowers!

So sweet.

She's a big girl now and prefers facing forward in the stroller! Time to switch out our carseat adapter!!

Fishing Open!

For the fishing season opener we headed to Port Orchard with the Kellys to their family cabin.

It was a fun weekend of fishing, camping, eating, boat rides, and more fishing!

The kids had a blast. I can't remember how many fish we caught- at least two dozen each day! It was awesome.

The kids were hilarious! They were carrying the fish like they were toys.

Flashback to this same weekend two years ago...

They were tiny!

I'm sure we'll be saying the same thing when we look back at Mikayla's first weekend fishing!

It was such a great weekend, thank you so much to the Kellys for having us!!

Out On The Boat!

The sunshine is here! 

Matt and James have been working on the boat for a few weeks now. 

As you can see, James is especially intent on making sure everything is operational.

All ready for boating season!

One hot spring day, we headed out to Lake Tapps.

Mikayla was excited for her very first boat ride!

James got to drive...

With a little help from Dad!

And we enjoyed some dinner on the lake.

I'm so excited to enjoy a summer while NOT being pregnant! 

Matt is excited because I will be able to pull him on the ski (assuming someone can watch the kids on shore- luckily we have many volunteers for that part!)
