Seven Months

My lovely little baby girl turned seven months old early this month!  

She is changing right before our eyes. I love watching her personality blossom.  

This one is funny! She absolutely has a sense of humor.  

She is still easy going.

At seven months old, Mikayla:

Loves to eat. 

Loves to watch brother. Loves to cuddle. Loves to watch Kona from her highchair- he makes her laugh!  

Favorite food: carrots

Not so favorite food: bananas

Says: "Mamamamama"- makes mom melt!

Loves to touch her toes.

 She's almost bigger than her teddy bear!

Loves to explore new things...

Baby girl is BIG! As in popping out of her clothes. We are in 12 month clothing!

Mom's Helper

James is so sweet to his baby sister. He loves her SO much.

He's a big help when it comes to giving Mikayla snacks...

She loves it when brother feeds her!

Easter with Tutu and Papi

We got to celebrate Easter with my parents a week early since they were going out of town.

It was a great time!

First, the egg hunt. 

James was so cute. With each egg he would say "What's that!?" To which we would reply "An egg!"  This conversation happened at least two dozen times.

He's not an aggressive egg hunter. He likes to shake each one and then pop it open to see what's inside.

 Great technique when he's the solo hunter, not quite as effective in a group!

Each egg was carefully placed in his basket.

Mikayla's first Easter! Doesn't she look sweet in her bunny ears?

A new Thomas shirt! This also provided great entertainment. Under the flap is a picture of Thomas. Everyone would ask "James, where's Thomas?!" and each time he would lift the flap. Funny! Finally, James got tired of this game and replied "No!"
